Sandy Umphrey

Sandy Umphrey was born in Los Angeles and grew up soaking up the sun while frequenting the many beaches and piers that the West Coast has to offer. After moving to Reno, Nevada, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in addiction counseling and prevention services and was eager to put her education and lived experience to work.

Sandy is a passionate professional who has devoted her career to supporting and empowering at-risk youth through her work in specialized residential therapeutic treatment facilities. With an unwavering commitment spanning more than 15 years, Sandy brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her work. Her passion for working with young people has guided her every step and she finds deep fulfillment in helping them navigate challenges and build resilience. Sandy’s work is driven by her belief in the potential of every young person, and she focuses on creating opportunities for growth and success. Outside of the office, Sandy is a loving wife and a proud mom to two young boys, who inspire her commitment to creating bright opportunities for the next generation.
